"Unleash Your Abilities, Onward and Upward!"

Bryan and Tara aren't just husband and wife - they're the heart and soul of Onward Motion, a dynamic duo whose shared vision drives the organization forward. As best friends and life companions, their synergy is the engine that powers Onward Motion's mission.
Bryan's love for motocross took an unexpected detour after an accident left him a incomplete paraplegic.
Tara, our creative powerhouse and full-time wheelchair user. Sure, she comes with her own set of plot twists - Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy, Fibromyalgia - Hyper Mobile joints, Arthritis - but that's just the backstory. The real narrative? That's all Tara.
She's busy penning her own adventure, and let's just say it's a page-turner. Tara crafts tales brimming with love, romance, and a dash of magic, featuring heroines who refuse to be sidelined. Her characters are strong women defying odds and rewriting rules at every turn. Gee, wonder where she gets her inspiration?
When she's not weaving literary magic, Tara's living her own epic saga. She rolls through life with the same determination as her fictional heroines, proving that real-life plot twists only make the story more interesting. With her trusty sidekick Beau (a four-legged fur-baby who thinks he's the main protagonist) by her side, Tara's showing the world that the most captivating stories are the ones we write for ourselves.
Together, Bryan and Tara are shaking things up at Onward Motion. They're all about real talk, real experiences, and really cool adventures. Whether it's adapting outdoor activities, exploring new places, or just figuring out how to make everyday life more awesome, these two are always up for a challenge.
With Bryan's mechanical know-how and Tara's creative spark, they're the perfect team to lead Onward Motion. They're here to show that life with disabilities isn't about limitations - it's about finding new ways to do the things you love and discovering some pretty amazing stuff along the way.
Want to see what Bryan and Tara are up to next? Stick around - it's bound to be one heck of a ride!
Bryan
Bryan, the guy who's never met a wheel he didn't like. His favorite truck? A Peterbilt, in case you're keeping score. This self-proclaimed motocross junkie has a need for speed that just won't quit. When he's not dreaming up his next adventure on two wheels, you might catch him outdoors, trying to outsmart some fish or roughing it in the wilderness. But life isn't all about the adrenaline rush for Bryan. He's got a softer side, and it comes in the form of a pint-sized Shih Tzu named Daisy Mae. This furry little taskmaster has appointed herself Bryan's personal assistant. Need the plants watered? Daisy Mae's on it, supervising the whole operation. Worried Bryan's not getting enough exercise? Daisy Mae's got a rigorous play schedule all mapped out. When he's not being bossed around by his canine companion, Bryan's likely tinkering with their home-on-wheels, the RV Spirit. And because he's a bit of a prepper (okay, maybe more than a bit), he's always ready for whatever curveballs life might throw his way. Mother Nature, bring it on - Bryan's got a plan for that. So whether he's tearing up the motocross track, casting a line, or just trying to keep up with Daisy Mae's to-do list, Bryan's always in motion. Just don't expect him to sit still for long - unless, of course, Daisy Mae says it's nap time.

Tara
Tara, the wordsmith half of this dynamic duo. She's got ink-stained fingers and stories swirling in her head 24/7. When she's not channeling her inner Jane Austen or JK Rowling (her literary crushes, by the way), she's probably jotting down ideas inspired by her latest nature escapade. Speaking of nature, Tara's idea of a good time involves horses, homesteading, and basically anything that gets her outside. But don't think she's all work and no play. Her partner in crime? A four-legged freeloader named Beau. This furry little diva has apparently mistaken Tara's lap for his personal throne. If Tara had a dollar for every time Beau refused to walk, she could probably buy a lifetime supply of notebooks and pens. Beau's not just lazy; he's a certified mama's boy with a toy addiction. Seriously, this dog has more playthings than most kids. And forget about Tara getting any writing done without her canine supervisor. Whether she's outlining her next YA fantasy romance or deep in a Victorian-era plot twist, Beau's right there, "helping" in his own special way. So yeah, Tara's life is a mix of books, art & nature, and one very spoiled dog. Just don't ask her to go anywhere without her notebook... or Beau's favorite toy. Trust us, it's not worth the drama.

Match Made In Heaven
Their love story, is straight out of a rom-com, but with a modern twist. Picture this: It's 2011, and these two lovebirds connect online. But instead of rushing into things, they decide to kick it old school. We're talking handwritten letters (yes, actual paper and pen!) and marathon phone calls that would make your teenager self proud. For three whole months, they got to know each other the slow way, building a connection that went way beyond the usual "swipe right" culture. When they finally met in person, it wasn't just sparks - it was full-on fireworks. All those letters and late-night chats paid off big time. They felt like they'd known each other forever, probably because, in a way, they had. Fast forward to 2014, and these two decided to make it official. Yup, they tied the knot, proving that sometimes, taking it slow leads to the fast lane of true love. Now, they're navigating life together, with Bryan's need for speed and love for all things wheeled complementing Tara's passion for writing & art and the great outdoors. Oh, and let's not forget their furry sidekicks - Daisy Mae, the Shih Tzu who's appointed herself Bryan's personal assistant, and Beau, the lap-loving, toy-hoarding pup who thinks he's Tara's muse. Together, they're the heart and soul of Onward Motion, bringing their unique blend of experiences, passions, and puppy love to everything they do. Who says romance is dead? Bryan and Tara are living proof that love finds a way - even if it has to use snail mail to get there.

Paw-parazzi Alert
"Darlings, gather 'round for some tea - and by tea, I mean the hottest gossip about my dear brother, Beau. Bless his heart, he's as skittish as a chipmunk at a cat convention. Can you believe he's afraid of flies? Flies! I swear, if elegance were a contest, he'd be disqualified before the first round.
Now, don't get me wrong, I adore the little fluffball, but his toy hoarding? Honey, it's like living with a four-legged version of those extreme couponers. I started our TikTok channel just so I could afford my weekly pawdicures and gourmet treats. Meanwhile, Beau thinks we're running a squeaky toy charity.
But let me tell you the absolute best part of being us - we never have to touch that ghastly dirt! Momma and Daddy's wheels are our personal chariots. We hop off for a quick tinkle, and voila, back to our mobile thrones. It's like having a red carpet everywhere we go. Now, if you'll excuse me, it's time for my afternoon caviar and belly rubs from Daddy. Tata!"
"Oh gosh, oh gosh, is that a fly? No? Phew! Hey there, I'm Beau, and let me tell you about my sister, Daisy Mae. She's scarier than those buzzy flying things, I tell ya! Always bossing me around like she's the Queen of Sheba or something. Did you know she made us start a TikTok? I don't even know what that is! I just show up and look cute.
But boy, do I love my toys! They're my friends, you know? They don't judge me for being a little nervous. Unlike SOME sisters I could mention. Daisy says I hoard them, but I prefer to think I'm running a toy retirement home. They've earned their squeaks!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I hear a new toy calling my name. Or was that a fly? Oh no!"

Mission Statement
The mission of "Onward Motion" is to empower and inspire individuals who have faced disabilities to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals, regardless of the challenges they may encounter. We believe everyone has the potential to succeed and thrive, and we are committed to showcasing stories of resilience and determination to inspire our audience.
Through our videos, interviews, and personal accounts, we aim to promote independence and confidence, and encourage our viewers to focus on their strengths and what they can do, rather than what they cannot do. We believe that a disability should never define a person, and that with hard work, perseverance, and a positive mindset, anything is possible.
Our goal is to create a community of individuals who support and motivate each other, and who share a common belief in the power of the human spirit. We hope to provide a source of inspiration and motivation for anyone facing obstacles in their lives, and to demonstrate that it is possible to achieve one's dreams, no matter the circumstances.
In addition to inspiration and community-building, Onward Motion is committed to providing tangible support through our Onward Motion HELPS Non-Profit. We actively assist individuals with disabilities in five crucial areas:
Housing accessibility: Ensuring safe and adaptable living environments
Employment: Facilitating job opportunities and workplace accommodations
Love: Promoting social connections and relationships
Peace of mind: Offering mental health support and resources
Safety: Providing guidance and tools for personal security
By addressing these fundamental needs, we strive to create a comprehensive support system that empowers individuals with disabilities to not only dream big but also to have the practical means to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
